Counselling for teenage boys (12–17) & men
Led by Scottii Snowball out on the oval, along the track, on a park bench. Wherever it's easier to talk.
First things first
No sitting across a desk being asked to explain yourself. No fluorescent lights, no pressure to perform. Scottii works the way most boys and men actually open up side by side, moving, outdoors, with room to breathe between the hard bits.
A kick of the footy at the oval
A walk through the park
A seat on a bench, just talking
Wherever you're more you
Your counsellor
Scottii has spent over thirty years at the top level of competitive sport, basketball and American football, representing Victoria and Australia on the biggest stages, including a World Cup campaign in Sicily. He knows what it is to perform under pressure, to carry expectation, to face setbacks and keep showing up.
That experience, with anger, grief, anxiety, self-doubt, and everything that sits underneath high performance, is exactly what he now brings to counselling. Not as a coach barking instructions, but as someone who's genuinely been there, and who listens without judgement.

The approach
Fresh air lowers the pressure. Moving side by side takes the intensity out of eye contact. For a lot of boys and men, that's the difference between a locked jaw and an honest conversation. Sessions are still private, still safe, and still entirely led by what you need, the setting just makes it easier to get there.
